Programs and Tuition

To be admissible to study full-time at ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù, the equivalent of a Secondary School Diploma at the college preparation level or higher is needed. Some programs require further studies. Students are required to be at least 18 years old by the end of their first semester. To study in a graduate certificate program, you will need a high school diploma plus a college or university diploma or degree or the  equivalent.

  • BScN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) = Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • OCC  (Ontario College Certificate) = Certificate Program
  • OCD  (Ontario College Diploma) = Associate Degree

How to Apply

U.S. students can apply for ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù programs on OCAS IAS (Ontario College Application System - International Application  System).

Click the Apply button below. Create an account with your information, search for ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù, and choose the program(s) you want to apply to. There is no application fee.
 

 


 

Timelines

  • Applications are typically reviewed within 5 business days
    • If an application is complete, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) within this timeframe
    • If an application is not complete, we will send back a "Needs more information" status
  • Payment deadlines are listed on the LOA and are unique to each student
    • Once tuition rates are finalized, we will confirm payment deadlines/timelines (i.e. 4 weeks after LOA, 8 weeks after LOA, etc.)
  • Provincial Attestation Letters (PALs) are issued within one week after receiving a deposit payment

Application Documents Required

Valid Passport

  • If you do not have a valid passport to apply, ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù will accept a driver's license for a conditional Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
  • U.S. Passport Book or U.S. Passport Card will be accepted
    • Passport Book
      •  Valid for 10 years for international travel by air, sea, or land
      • $165 for a first-time applicant or $130 renewal
    • Passport Card
      •  Valid for 10 years for land and sea entry from Canada, Mexico, and Bermuda
      • $65 for a first-time applicant or $30 renewal

High School Transcripts and Diploma (Proof of Completion)

  • If you haven't graduated high school yet, we will accept a partial transcript     and an estimated completion date    for a conditional LOA
  • If you graduated high school many years ago and can't access your high school transcript, we will accept a postsecondary transcript    if it is  issued by an accredited institution
  • We do accept GED (or equivalent) as Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD); however, course-specific requirements must still be met

Course-Specific Requirements

  • Michigan offers three streams for core courses (on-level, honours, and advanced placement (AP))
  • On-level courses are equivalent to our "C" level course requirements and can be used for admission to most programs
    • other than programs requiring "U" level courses

Varsity Sports

Take your sport into the varsity level as a ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù Cougar. Student-athletes get five years of eligibility playing at postsecondary institutions in Ontario.

Residence

Apply to move into Ray Lawson Hall with spacious doubles, cozy singles, or barrier-free rooms to suit your needs,  and enjoy full kitchens on every floor. Designated study hours create a focused environment, while fun events like game  nights, floor hockey, dodgeball, beach days, holiday dinners, and college sports events will keep you busy, making friends, and staying social.

Affectionately referred to as "The Soo",  you'll be surrounded by amazing views and natural landscapes in four seasons.
